1. About rentBoat rentBoat is an online marketplace that lists boats and tours from independent suppliers. rentBoat is not the boat owner or tour operator unless stated otherwise.
2. Bookings • A booking request is sent to the supplier for confirmation unless instant booking is offered. • Prices shown on the site are set by suppliers and may change before confirmation. • You must provide accurate contact and booking information.
3. Payments • Online payments, when enabled, are processed securely through our payment partner. • Deposits, balances, and cancellation rules depend on the supplier and listing details shown at checkout.
4. Cancellations and changes • Cancellation terms are set by each supplier. Contact the supplier or rentBoat support if you need to change or cancel a booking.
5. Customer responsibilities • Follow safety instructions from the supplier and crew. • Hold any required boating licence when renting without a skipper, where applicable. • Treat boats and equipment with care.
6. Supplier responsibilities • Suppliers must provide accurate listing information and honour confirmed bookings. • Suppliers are responsible for licences, insurance, and legal compliance for their operations.
7. Liability rentBoat facilitates connections between customers and suppliers. To the fullest extent permitted by law, rentBoat is not liable for accidents, injuries, losses, or disputes arising from a rental or tour, which remain between the customer and supplier.
8. Acceptable use You may not misuse the platform, post false information, or attempt to bypass our booking system.
9. Account suspension We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
10. Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of Albania, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply to you.
